Mashel River Planting
A total of 1,417 plants were planted on 1,100 feet of riparian corridor in 2006-2007. Completed in partnership with Nisqually Indian Tribe, Nisqually River Education Project, Nisqually Stream Stewards, Pierce Conservation District, the town of Eatonville, and 514 volunteers from neighboring school districts.

This planting project was undertaken to complement the Mashel River ELJs.
