A watershed is an area of land where water from rain and melting snow converges into rivers and streams where the water travels to join larger bodies of water such as larger rivers, lakes, wetlands or the ocean. SPSSEG mainly works in the Puyallup, Nisqually, and Deschutes watersheds, as well as other watersheds south of Brown’s Point and north of the entrance to Gig Harbor.
