Kennedy Creek Salmon Trail Closes

Another great season of watching Chum spawn in the beautiful Kennedy and Fiscus Creeks has come to a close. We would like to extend a hearty “Thanks!” to all those dedicated Docents who spent hours providing salmon knowledge to 5th graders from the Olympia School District, rain or shine. The trail was open to the general public since October 29, with Docents providing tours and general information about Chum behavior and salmon needs.  If you were one of the lucky visitors to the trail, please come back next year and bring a friend.

We would like to thank the Mason Conservation District and Taylor Shellfish for their continued support of the Kennedy Creek Salmon Trail – a premier Northwest interpretive trail.Fish at Fiscus Creek
