Two Great Rivers–From the Amazon to the Nisqually

We are thrilled to present our 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting on January 27th, 2011! Our keynote speaker Joe Kane, Executive Director of the Nisqually Land Trust, will be sharing his experiences as a member of the first expedition to travel the Amazon River from source to sea, six months by whitewater raft and sea kayak.  He will also be sharing his perspectives on Puget Sound restoration and conservation philosophies.  In addition, SPSSEG will be doing a project showcase, explaining a bit about what we’ve been working on throughout the last year.  Feel free to come check it out as it is open to the public.  Also, Taylor Shellfish was kind enough to provide shellfish appetizers for our enjoyment.  Click on the link below to view the flier for this event.
