Kennedy Creek Salmon Splash
Please join SPSSEG and all the Kennedy Creek Salmon Trail supporters and enthusiasts on Sunday August 22, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m at the Trail. This years festivities are going to be the best yet, with excellent music and fabulous appetizers, seafood, desserts and beverages. Tickets for this annual event are $35 per person; remember that $35 supports 10 student visitors to the trail! This year we are also raising funds to fix a damaged viewing platform.
Kennedy Creek is a one of a kind outdoor classroom which offers a wide range of learning opportunities to kids of all ages. Each year over 5,000 students and numerous community members visit the trail to learn about the salmon life-cycle and the critical habitat that supports salmon.
Parking will be available at the Trail. For driving directions and additional Kennedy Creek Salmon Trail information please follow the link to the Kennedy Creek page on this website.
Special thanks go out to Taylor Shellfish, Mason CD, Mason WSU Extension, and SPSSEG for supporting and coordinating this event. Plus we have received numerous in-kind community donations including Fish Tale beer and Taylor Shellfish. Come see for yourself how much fun this event is.
If you are unable to attend Splash, please make a financial donation using the Just Give link on our website or donate your time by becoming a volunteer docent this fall. We need docents during the weekday for school groups and also on the busy November weekends for the general public.
Please contact us at Lancew@spsseg.org for more information. See you at the Splash this summer! Thank you!

Jerilyn,
I hope that picture doesn’t scare anybody. Don’t I need to sign a waiver or something?:)
