Olympia Traverse
SPSSEG "Chums"
On July 31, 2010, SPSSEG competed in the first annual Multi-adventure race for salmon, the Olympia Traverse. Our team included two staff members and two Board members. Although we didn’t win the race, we had a great time supporting the event. The race featured a 4 mile run completed by Kristin Williamson, 8 mile mountain bike completed by Lance Winecka, 22 mile road bike by Joe Williams, and finished up with a 3.5 mile kayak by Duane Fagergren.
